TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction - Welcome to Bark Avenue Social Club. By booking or using our dog play date and dog walking services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation or utilizing our services.

2. Services Offered - We provide dog play dates, dog park outings, and group dog walking services. All services are designed to provide physical exercise and social interaction for your pet.

3. Bookings and Payment - We work on a 2 bookings per week minimum. All services must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or email. We reserve the right to accept or decline any booking request.

3.2 Payment - Payment for services must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept all major credit cards, apple pay, google pay and cash. Refunds will only be provided under specific conditions outlined in the refund policy below.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy / Cancellations by Client - Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the service fee. No-shows or cancellations made less than 2 hours before the service are non-refundable.

4.2 Cancellations by Us - In the event we must cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, emergency), we will either reschedule the service or provide a full refund.

5. Pet Requirements / Vaccinations - All pets must be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus. Proof of vaccination may be required.

5.2 Behavior - We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog that exhibits aggressive or dangerous behavior. Dogs must be non-aggressive and socialized to participate in group activities. Owners are responsible for providing accurate information about their pet’s behavior.

5.3 Health - Owners must disclose any known medical conditions or allergies that could affect the dog's ability to participate in our services. In the event of illness or injury during the service, we will contact the owner immediately.

6. Owner Responsibilities - Owners must ensure their pet is secured with a well-fitting collar/harness and leash for all services. Additionally, owners must be reachable during the scheduled service time in case of emergencies or unforeseen issues.

7. Liability - While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of your pet, we cannot be held responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur during dog play dates or walks. By booking our services, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the inherent risks involved in group play and outdoor activities.

8. Weather Conditions - We prioritize the safety and comfort of pets during our services. If extreme weather conditions (e.g., heatwaves, thunderstorms) pose a risk, we may modify, shorten, or cancel the service. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible.

9. Privacy Policy - We collect personal information solely for the purpose of providing services and will not share your details with third parties without your consent. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions - We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all services booked after the changes take effect.

REFUND POLICY

At Bark Avenue Social Club, we strive to provide exceptional care and enjoyable experiences for your pets. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we are committed to offering a fair and transparent refund policy for our services.

1. Cancellation and Refunds

1.1 Client Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will be eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled service or for no-shows.

1.2 Service Modifications - If you need to reschedule your service, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a fee.

2. Cancellations by Bark Avenue Social Club

In rare cases, we may need to cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather, staff emergencies, or safety concerns. In such cases, you will be offered the choice of rescheduling the service or receiving a full refund.

3. Late Arrivals and No-Shows

3.1 Late Arrivals - If we arrive late for a pick-up, we will do our best to accommodate your pet’s scheduled service. However, please note that the session may be shortened depending on our schedule, and no partial refunds will be issued for shortened sessions.

3.2 No-Shows - If you your dog is not present at the agreed-upon pickup time for any of our services, no refund will be provided.

4. Weather Conditions

For outdoor services such as dog walks and park play dates, safety is our priority. If we determine that the weather conditions are too extreme (e.g., excessive heat, thunderstorms), we may modify or cancel the service. In these cases, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

5. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of receiving the cancellation request. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon.

6. Non-Refundable Services

Please note that special promotions, discounted packages, or gift certificates may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated. These services will be clearly marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase.
